- Afrizo is a 25 member gospel music group from Daystar University, Kenya which exclusively performs music from South, Central and East Africa. It is known for its special fusion and mixture of African rhythms. Its members are talented in composing songs, playing a variety of instruments, harmonious sound blending as well as dance and choreography. What Afrizo does in its pursuit to minister the gospel as well as build the public image of Daystar is entertaining beyond measure and leaves many audiences requesting for more! Afrizo empowers its members to go out and use what they've learnt to fully utilize their talents. Receiving invitations frequently, Afrizo's performances have gradually increased to more than 60 times every year. In a world of too much western influence, Afrizo's desire is to appreciate a God-given culture, rich in expressive rhythms and enforce its beauty and uniqueness, long enough to draw future generations of musicians towards the same vision.
